You had me worried when you mentioned your «bad feeling» about low cholesterol levels in vegans and while there seems to be plenty evidence to support the claim that having high cholesterol can be positive for many health reasons, I've not found any hard evidence that outright
proves that vegans and vegetarians who eat a well balanced
diet AND have low cholesterol are at risk of
cancer, brain and nervous system issues, etc..

diets of African Americans, who have a high risk of colon
cancer, and native Africans in South Africa.
