This DIY psyllium fiber supplement dissolves just as easily as the storebought stuff and isn't spit up - inducing
like psyllium powder alone (sorry for the graphic language, but it's true... swallowing chunks of psyllium goo is just plain old grrrross!)
If it absorbs a lot of liquid (like flax and chia) then I would add 1
tbs psyllium powder + 1 tbs almond milk, or however much milk to make a very thick paste.
I actually get best results with
homemade psyllium powder because the store - bought powder is too fine and making the texture too dense.
The ready -
made psyllium powder that I've tried seems too fine / dense and makes my bread purple with a slight bitter aftertaste.
There are also many supplemental options
including psyllium powder, oat bran, acacia powder, apple pectin, or ground flax seeds.
If you add 2 tablespoons
of psyllium powder it will change the consistency and make it less crumbly, The results will be moist and soft with a better mouth feel.
Do you use boiling water if you do not
use psyllium powder or is it still necessary for helping the soda and tarter with rising... Also I do not need very low carb bread so may i sub whole wheat for the protein powder?

In a large bowl, combine: almond meal, pecans, quinoa flakes, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, caraway seeds,
psyllium powder, mesquite, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, and yeast.
This a a blueprint, feel free to experiment, maybe add some other berries such as logan or blueberries, perhaps a little coconut or almond yogurt or
some psyllium powder?

One question — what would happen if you added
