Our «See Something, Say Something — Report
Animal Cruelty» campaign, for example, is all
about getting the
public's help in reporting suspicions of
abuse to local authorities.
In order to decrease the occurrence of
animal abuse and neglect, we must not only educate the
public about how to properly care for and treat their
animals, but also increase law enforcement response to and prosecution of acts that constitute
animal cruelty.
It is the goal of the «Dogs Chained For Life» campaign to spend 2006 educating the general
public and legislators
about this
abuse and go back to the next legislature to increase considerations for these
animals and provide daily time off the tether, something not done in a state legislature yet.
