It's one of Courthouse Libraries BC's special
projects, used by a growing number of BC
legal organizations — including the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch and several others — to deliver
public legal education and information (or «PLEI») in a cost effective way that ordinary citizens can easily find and use.
The
project of improving
legal education, to deliver both
public and private value, will require independent, yet coordinated, initiatives by all participants in the system.
The TBA YLD won first place in the «Service to
Public» category for its Library
Education Project, which under the leadership of Immediate Past YLD President David McDowell, focused on educating librarians across the state about the free
legal resources available for those who need
legal information and advice.

project with Courthouse Libraries BC to transform my
