Working class living standards are set to face an onslaught with the deepest
public service cuts since the Second World War and the weakening of pay and working conditions of millions of people.

Public Library (SLDPL) in September 2011.
Should he do so, the Tories will be able to argue that the looming

cuts that the IFS already calls «inconceivably» deep — would have to be deeper still under a Labour government,
since it would squander more resources on bigger benefit cheques.
