Just last week it was revealed that Ys Net would be partnering up with Deep Silver for
Shenmue III
publishing.
Today, we've via an Ys Net Kickstarter update that learned that Deep Silver has obtained global
publishing rights to Yu Suzuki's upcoming
Shenmue III.
I can say that with their assistance on the production and marketing end, and in Sony's case with some
publishing support as well, Ys Net is able to use more of the money we collect through Kickstarter purely for
Shenmue 3's development.
Because Deep Silver clearly haven't
published enough games, today we can confirm that they are working with Ys Net to bring
Shenmue III to all the eager gamers who want to know where sailors hang out.
Deep Silver announced this morning that it's entered into a
publishing agreement with YsNet's on
Shenmue III, which will be coming to the PC and PlayStation 4 in Q2 2018.
