sale of 10,000 Kindle Serials during the first week since the program was launched and describes what he hopes will take place between authors and readers in «virtual - watercooler» discussions as the serials unfold.
Self -
published authors have been so happy with their «70 % royalties» (which is really a 30 %
sales commission for hosting / delivering a file and processing payments) but as soon as Wall St decides the company needs to
start turning profits, I'll bet that's the first place they
start to squeeze.

Sales Numbers
This
starts with positioning it in a category that isn't too competitive but has enough readers to make consistent
sales, something we talked about in our 10 - page guide on self -
publishing.

sales after the
publishing costs are covered (can be as little as 1,000 copies until it
starts being profitable through POD printing).
