puff pastry 2 - 3 tablespoons apricot jam (optional — for glazing the top of the baked

1 sheet frozen
puff pastry 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 1/2 cup honey, preferably eucalyptus or local honey 3 pounds
tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into wedges Unbleached all - purpose flour, for the
pastry Ice cream for serving (optional)
The dough makes more than what you might need for one
tart or severl Napoleons, but it is easier to work a large quantity of
puff pastry and refrigerate or freeze what you don't use.

tart apples, 1 fresh lemon, 8 TBS sugar, 2 TBS cinnamon, 1 egg for egg wash, extra sugar and preheat your oven to 400 degrees Image source Put a pot with water on heat and let it boil, meanwhile cut the apples into thin slices and add them to the pot with the lemon juice then turn the heat off, put a lid on the pot and let the apples steam for a minute.
In my photo, I made a rectangular
tart because the
puff pastry I bought was shaped that way, but you can use the usual round shape of either refrigerated pie dough, or frozen
puff pastry.
Bake
tarts until
puff pastry is golden, 15 — 20 minutes.
Bananas, brown sugar, butter, and
puff pastry — that's all you need for these caramelized, irresistible
tarts.
I love the sweet
tart flavor from the strawberry rhubarb mixture, buttery taste of the
puff pastry, and crunch from the almonds.
For the
tart base, I used a good store bought
puff pastry but you're more than welcome to make your own.
