If you find any hair mats the best way to remove them is to
pull the hair apart with your hands.
Once your braid is complete, use your fingers to gently
pull hair apart and rub ends for even more volume.
You can make yours thicker by
pulling the hair apart to form a looser braid instead of pulling the ends tighter.

I did a normal fishtail braid except I grabbed larger sections of
hair to created a looser effect.I also started my fishtail lower down my ponytail to help create that loose effect.It's important not to
pull the braid too tight for this look.I secured my fishtail braid with a small black elastic.Then
pulled it
apart like crazy, a lot of my layers came out as well but I loved the look.Honestly to keep this braid in I
hair - sprayed tons!
