chai spiced pumpkin pie recipe we shared the other day, but a bit simpler (And in pie form!).
What's more, the tender, nutty crust and fluffy

chai spice filling are completely free of gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and refined sugar!
I've never had masala
chai spice on hand so I just use
pumpkin spice (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and the teeniest bit of cloves) as Leanne recommends.
My variations include: 1/2 cup plus 2 heaping tbs of sugar (instead of 1 cup of sugar), 3/4 cup
pumpkin (instead of 1 cup), 1/2 cup applesauce (instead of 1/4), 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (instead of 1 tsp), 1/2 teaspoon chocolate extract, 1 tsp of
chai masala (instead of all of the
spices).
The warm

But, you're in luck because we got a cool and slightly rainy day today and all I wanted was a sweater, some
chai, and

spiced granola bars.
Looking for a delicious twist on a classic PSL beverage, try this turmeric - based
pumpkin spice chai latte recipe that is coffee and tea - free.
These are best enjoyed with a steaming cup of coconut cream
chai tea, and if you're really feeling the
pumpkin spice season, try it with a Paleo
pumpkin spiced chai tea latte.
Because I don't drink coffee I can't get on the style blogger fall bandwagon and have a
pumpkin spice latte in my hand (unless it's a
pumpkin spice chai latte from Argo Tea) and I don't want to wear boots before it's time.
I won't include those warm drinks like
pumpkin spiced and
chai tea lattes because I drink iced coffee year - round and those just don't sound appealing to me!
I've only ever had the
pumpkin spice chai from Argo but I think Caribou has one, too.
