Pumpkin,

pies were the ones my mom always made.
I decided to adapt my Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast Bar recipe, by adding a creamy, delicious
pumpkin pie filling and adding crunchy
pecans to the top.
The travesty in all that was that, as a kid, I didn't really like either
pumpkin or
pecan pie.
When you combine the flavors of
pumpkin pie and
pecan pie, you get an amazing mash - up and the best of both.
Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, she always brought dessert and dessert was always a
pecan pie and a
pumpkin pie.
I love the flavour of
pumpkin pie and this
pecan crumble looks amazing — the perfect contrast between a smooth and creamy filling, crumbly shortbread crust and crunchy crumbs.
