pumpkin patch we were on the hunt for
stems with no home.
I am crushing pretty hard on these DIY Burlap
Pumpkins with real
Stems right now!!!
I'm using these gorgeous velvet
pumpkins with real
pumpkins stems made by Chris Ann from LoveFeast Shop.
And the real
pumpkin stem on these just adds so much more than the ones I've made
with twigs or cinnamon sticks!
I've made some tiny velvet
pumpkins with real
stems collected from a
pumpkin patch and a cranberry colored dress I picked up at Goodwill.
And I absolutely love them in velvet
with real
pumpkin stems no less!!
The final step in the
pumpkin preparation was to hot glue the
stems back on and replace the heavy wire
with a thin wire and more hot glue.
I have painted

Okay so I got a handmade white glass
pumpkin with golden
stem.
He attached the
stem to the
pumpkin with a 3/4 inch screw.
Even though all my
pumpkins were a creamy white to begin
with, I went ahead and spray painted them (
stems and all)
with a matte white spray paint.
The problem
with fake
pumpkins — even if you paint them, the
stems are usually pretty awful.
I'm a sucker for any kind of
pumpkin, but these are especially nice
with their real

I have searched $ stores for faux
pumpkins... the only ones I ever see are tiny —
