I love the rustic look with the twine and
the pumpkin on the cake stand.
I placed faux
pumpkins on the cake stands and table, and used different height mercury glass votives scattered throughout.
And out of those two ideas came this simple
pumpkins on a cake stand centerpiece.

on doing a lot of baking this Fall but for now this
cake stand holds a cute white
pumpkin with some soft aqua colored greenery.
The white
pumpkin is so gorgeous and it sits
on a
cake stand from Homegoods, also made in Italy, along with that pretty rustic tree slice.
Simply place your large
pumpkin on a white
cake stand (I needed to use a riser in the form of a small white bowl in order to raise my
pumpkin up above the artichokes.)

I was looking at your article in «The Cottage Garden» and there was a
pumpkin on your table in front of the sofa, it wasn't just in the wooden tray, you also had it sitting
on top of a dark
cake stand or some type of
stand.
My
pumpkin muffins went
on the
cake stand, and the additional plates, napkins, and cutlery are handy for last minute guests.
