Conditions
at puppymills vary, although even in the best of circumstances, these establishments are abusive to dogs.

PUPPYMILL conditions would contribute to 600 puppies dying in one night, and the spread of this strain 2 would be almost impossible to track when the infected dogs from «breeders» are shipped all over the U.S. to different cities for distribution and sale.

My
first puppymill dog was so afraid to eat if other dogs were in the home that initially he wouldn't eat until he felt safe at 3 in the morning when all was quiet.
I have a rescue, likely of
puppymill stock and he is very likely to pass for some reason due to his poor breeding.
It was very informative and educational and
exposes puppymills in a very eye opening way without being too graphic (perfect for people like me who cry easy, like everytime the ASPCA commercial comes on).

These groups
view puppymills, petshops, and irresponsible breeders as the problem, and believe that by combining their efforts toward a common goal, they will make a real difference.
Even in municipalities that have no
actual puppymills (very few) there is casual backyard breeding where puppies are sold while too young, unhealthy, and unidentifiable.
I also did very much like his words surrounding «breed» bans and that banning a breed does not solve the problem, the importance of rescuing animals, not

There are far too many people seeking the «now» puppy and if bybers,

term puppymill, though the term is not yet considered a legal term yet, when many every day people accept the terms use and can envision how that kennel must be maintained.

There is a HUGE difference between RESPONSIBLE breeders and your typical back - yard breeder (BYB) or
