We ripped out carpet and vinyl, we tore down horrible plastic trim from around the doors... in their place we added pine floors, new interior doors purchased at a construction auction for $ 68 for 8 doors!

Just purchased a new to me home and am needing floor coverings.

Over the past few weeks, here's what has been accomplished: Demo Sand glitter off the walls (thanks hubby) Some painting Install new cement based sub floor (the former sub floor was sunken, rotting wood) Install extractor fan Install tile Grout Change door location Install vanity Purchase fixtures (lighting, shower faucet, sinks) Hook up plumbing; install faucets

As we've made big changes to this house over the years, changes like painting the cabinets and installing new flooring and purchasing new furniture, I've found that when it comes to seasonal decorating, I so love the backdrop that I've created I don't feel like I need to «frou - frou» it up all that much.

Several years ago, before we purchased this house, we convinced the landlord to let us put new floors in.
