"Pure price action" refers to analyzing the movements of an asset's price on a chart without the use of indicators or other technical tools. Traders who focus on
pure price action observe and interpret patterns, trends, and support/resistance levels solely based on the price itself. They seek to make trading decisions based on the behavior of the price alone, without relying on additional information.

I understand the appeal
of pure price action trading, but I haven't had much success with it myself.
Other types of signals are more discretionary and can rely
on pure price action and buying breakouts of price ranges, trend lines, and chart patterns.
Now compare the above chart to the exact same chart below with nothing but
pure price action setups and support and resistance levels marked.
The basis of any successful trading business is understanding price dynamics and how to read and trade
from pure price action.
As we can see in the above two images, the clarity that you get when trading off indicator - free,
pure price action charts, is very obvious and significant.
However, when you combine price action trading with traditional western indicators, you can eliminate many of the false signals given
by pure price action.
I don't
recommend pure price action trading, but I have found that adding price action techniques to a profitable trading system can be very powerful.

Now let's look at the same chart with no indicators at all, there is nothing
but pure price action and a couple of horizontal lines drawn in to show significant support and resistance levels.

The Renko bars are based
on pure price action and make it easier for traders to visualize the trend.
The retrace day trading setup
uses pure price action to identify a trend, to enter the trade, and to exit the position.
Eventually your brain and subconscious will sync up together and trading off
pure price action setups will be like riding a bike; once you adapt to it you will be able to ride it very well and it will become like second nature.
The purest form of trading is price action trading, using a clean price chart, no indicators, no mess,
just pure price action.
I suggest you stick
with pure price action trading strategies, like the ones I teach and trade, but whatever method you end up using, you will trade it better by understanding the price dynamics occurring on the chart below it.

pure price action is the way to go when trading forex and will be enrolling in your course.

Pure price action is the only constant in trading.
Obviously not, they are reading tape, or price, they are basically just trading based off
pure price action, and we can do that my taking off the forex indicators on our charts and learning to trade the natural price action of the market.
Pure price action trading can still be profitable, but I would personally not recommend the bullish piercing pattern for that style of trading.
Since the bullish harami is only a moderately strong reversal signal, I don't recommend
pure price action trading with this signal.
Maybe you prefer to trade
pure price action, or perhaps all of the signals are lining up in your trading system; either way, the piercing pattern above could have been profitable for any trader that spotted it.

I Have used it, but what has proven more profitable for me and I talk in my professional trading course is a combination of
pure price action, support / resistance and a special method to increase returns while minimising the risk to lose.
It becomes clear when you do an exercise like this that trading off
pure price action is much more logical and advantageous than trying to draw the same ultimate analysis from something OTHER THAN price.
Let's actually dissect two of the more popular indicators out there; Stochastic and MACD, and then compare them to trading with
pure price action.
Instead, I teach my students to trade off of a plain vanilla price chart by learning to read
the pure price action that occurs each day in the Forex market.
So, forget about the confusing haphazard mess that indicators leave all over your charts and let this article open your eyes to the power and simplicity of trading with
pure price action.
Folk; any indicator you use, you are taking away / getting away from
the PURE PRICE ACTION!
When you trade off trend lines you are trading off
pure price action.
I chucked all indicators, trading
pure price action, on a clean chart.
I don't recommend
pure price action trading, but it can be profitable when combined with other strategies, like trading MACD divergence.

a pure Price Action trader), and searched half of my life for the Holy (Forex) Grail, especially the best RR - ratio.
As P&F charts use
pure price action, it might offer a more reliable price objective.

You really are; you need to just accept the simple fact that all fundamentals and forex news variables are reflected via
the pure price action on your charts.
