You can find virtually any breed of
animal in your local
shelter —
purebred or mixed — but consumers continue to pay hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars for
dogs from breeders.
These
dogs come to us
from animal shelters, other rescue groups, and owners who wish to surrender their
purebred bulldogs.
In
dogs, a sale is NOT final and we would go a long way in lessening the rescue of
purebred dogs from shelters and the horrific euthanasia numbers if people would be responsible for the
animals they produce.
From its inception in 1993, NAIA has championed the rescue of
