pushing bobby pins into it from all directions.

If your braid feels a little too loose you can tighten it adding
bobby pins in the center starting from the bottom and
pushing them upwards.
After parting your hair into a deep side part, use two
bobby pins to
push the front pieces back and away from your face.
I did this look just using
bobby pins pushing up the pieces at the top of my head:)
This is my secret for ensuring the braid is
pinned in place — put the
bobby pin around your braid then just
push it up underneath your ponytail to hold it in place.
Fasten with a
bobby pin and
push forward to create some height in front.
