Cars have been around commercially for a century now — the majority of drivers
on the road can barely even
change their own

There are many things that one can do
on their own like
change their
oil in their car, represent themselves in court,
put a new roof
on their home, or my favorite... I could attempt to cut my own hair (but that would end up in one crazy looking mess)!
it's not a direct contribution to the charity, like although being paid mileage for a charity would be, they won't likely let you deduct the
oil change or belt repair you did (because of all the miles you
put on your car for the charity)... although claiming pets as dependents would be an awesome next step
Figure out monthly, weekly, and daily tasks,
put them
on your calendar, and treat them like you would any other scheduled tasks, like flossing, giving your dog heart worm medication, or
changing your car's
oil.

oil companies (which I am NOT) my goal would be to
