I tried to post two comments earlier but I guess
putting in a
link was seen as
spam.
Also, Antonio, yes, WordPress thought your earlier comments were
spam because of the multiple
links you
put in the post.
Please don't even click on their
links — you are just
putting money into their pockets and encouraging them to continue to use deception and
spam.
And you can also
put a
link directly in the description (not bit.ly or similar, or Pinterest might mark your pin as
spam).
It's tempting to get on Twitter and do nothing but talk about our books and share
links to our books, but that
puts most people to sleep or worse, you annoy them and they unfollow or report you for
spam.
DO NOT
SPAM, which means, do not
put links to your site or books unless they're requested or everyone is doing it.
I wouldn't
spam the blogs, but if you discretely
put the
link to your (for example) book for sale on Amazon in your signature, I think that's a good way to go.
Normally it's not good to post a
link in your first answer (it can be interpreted as
spam), but since this is a great answer, I'll just note that you should disclose any affiliation with the site, just to
put over-eager editors like myself at ease.

link spam, by the way, that I've started
putting up in response to every comment of yours I stumble across.
I'm having difficuilty getting the most interesting parts of my comment posted, which may be due to the numerous
links that i'm providing, which may have
put the submission into the «
spam» box..
Okay, just posting a
link puts you in the
spam box.
You can avoid
putting your email address on the web in plain - text form and never click a
link or load an image in a
spam email.
