I started
putting fruit slices in my water, but that turned out to be a lot of work (with organic fruit that does not last forever), and as you can imagine, with young kids I'm trying to reduce the amount of work in my life.

We have this all the time... but I
put Japanese thinly
sliced pork (for sukiaki) on one side and flip the pizza... then sprinkle with a bit of Japanese
fruit sauce.
While you're
putting your thinking caps on and
slicing open those avocados (check out How to: Prepare an Avocado), I have a chilled avocado soup to share with you, one that highlights the natural creaminess of this sunny
fruit.
1) Peel the grapefruit, and remove as much of the white pith from both the flesh and the peel 2) Using the peel of one grapefruit,

sliced peel, and squeeze in the lemon juice 7) Heat over low fire, stirring every few minutes for around one hour to ensure it does not stick to the bottom of the pot 8) Once marmalade reaches the desired consistency, remove from fire and pour straight away into sterilized jars, capping them immediately 9) Allow the grapefruit marmalade to cool before serving with toast or crackers
A thin
slice of watermelon, coated with fresh whipped cream, and a festive layer of
fruit, this healthy and refreshing dessert or snack is easy to
put together.
Buy some peaches on sale,
slice them up and
put them in the freezer to blend up with your other favorite
fruits.
Put out a platter of strawberries, passion
fruit, mango, and pineapple
slices along with some punch.
For breakfast,
put slices of banana on their cereal,
fruit salad with their toaster waffles or fresh
fruit with their eggs and bacon.
Things to
put front and center include a pitcher of water infused with
sliced lemon and herbs, cut veggies and hummus, and fresh,
sliced fruit.
I
put sliced fresh
fruit in in the compartments - the juice leaks out all over the bag.
Pick any
fruit, such as strawberries or oranges, and
put a few
slices of that
fruit into your water bottle for the day.
Mix with the
fruit slices and
put them into a blender or smoothie maker.
I may have actually been in a food daze after our experience, but I remember starting with the Cocktail for Two (with pineapple - infused tequila, habanero tincture, passion
fruit and lime, and it is YUMMY), followed by the most delectable house - made burrata with heirloom tomatoes and ridiculously flavorful olive oil, fried artichokes with lemon aioli, two pizzas (including the «a lot of pepperoni», which gave me the idea to start
putting spicy honey on my
slices), and then a slew of entrees..
One banana freezes things, it
puts a freeze on the time and slows the
fruit down so that you may be able to
slice them all with ease.
