I have said before yesterdays game that we need a top class forward and dm to challenge having watched yesterdays diabolical performance i feel we need to ad a out and out winger to the team playing ozil or carzola out left is not working pedro would have been a fantastic signing but
looks like he is going to
man u. I thought coq passing yesterday was terrible we need someone who can do both jobs sit in front of back 4 but when in possession have the
quality to make things happen coq lacks the 2nd part by a long way.
I mean
look at carzola, he says outright without hiding that we need a striker... about finishing strongly, we did that last season and the season after and the other after after a first leg screw - up... maybe ramsey loves his friends in the dressing room but saying that we need a few
quality wouldn't have hurt anyone... we weren't able to beat the chelsea that hez talking about at home even with a full squad so i don't get his reference plus other teams are strengthening strongly and will only get better...
man utd with a mediocre team played us like we were some kids FH at OT and we had no injuries... IF WE DO NT SIGN STRIKER we are doomed cz it» l be harder to beat even the small teams
It's no secrete we need a
man with pace to play in between and run off the defenders making use of our world class A / M (ozil / Santi) if I

Out of this he should spend that Lacazette money on Lukaku or Morata or Aubameyang.Morata is a player who I feel should he be given a team where he's the main
man he's going to score a lot of goals. There's more to come from him.I think he'll do well here. It's a shame he usually warms the bench at Madrid. It makes him seem overrated but he's not.Lukaku has the height, physique,
quality, speed, power, technique and finishing that Arsenal need in a striker. He
looks like that kind of player who'll bang in a lot of goalsif given the chance in a top team.Aubameyang is very very fast and clinical and at his age he's at his best.If we sign him it's more likely he'll be here for a while than most of the two due to his age.

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you
look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive
qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class
qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve...
man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Are you really naive enough to believe that Wenger would bring anyone into this current locker room that is going to be given a strong voice... have you not been watching, listening or reading about our club for years... Lehman is a blind Wenger follower, which is the only reason he was even considered... just for a second think of all the strong personalities that have played for this club that have never been seriously considered even though they have expressed legitimate interest in participating in the coaching process... even worse, think of all the former greats who aren't even allowed on the same pitch as Wenger because they have offered their advice and / or criticism to the infallible one... I dare you to find a manager that has distanced himself from his former players as much as this
man... it's the very reason why only one player I can think of has ever returned to play for Wenger and that was Flamini, which was hilarious considering we were desperately
looking for a top
quality defensive midfielder but Wenger could somehow find no one better than Flamini in the whole wide world... let's face it this club was simply trying to appease it's disgruntled fans by declaring that Wenger would no longer be given Ca rte Blanche when it came to the backroom staff so they probably asked him to give them a list of those who he would allow in the locker room... on that list he wrote Lehman, Pires and Bergkamp, likely because the first two are the only former players who haven't publicly questioned his horrible decision - making and the last one because he won't get in an airplane
Well im not in a wonderland he has his failings as we all do and great teams find a way to win good teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive watched the games were an offensive team most the time although were terrible in the pissing rain but for the most part the game plans have worked weve created chances
quality scoring chances one after the other problem is for me the finishing unless we sit back with 9
man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will give up a goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our strikers have failed to kill the games if we create
quality chances and grab leads in the first 60 minutes like we have for the most part and in those games those games should of been killed even if we give a goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that
quality in front goal a player the chances have been there im
looking at the failure of the strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored as many goals recently as our strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one in th first 60 mins of a game alongside them then were tired for last 40 give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this season not the tactics but the finishing
We were all having a laugh at mourinho's defence of a team that went down three nil and outplayed yet fans take these totally stupid comments by wenger seriously... The
man lost the football plot 5 years ago if not before and has convinced himself the board and enough fans that 4th place is sufficient for arsenal fc... It's actually sad as a couple of
quality signings would give us a shouting chance at least... Instead he talks up a bunch of massively overpaid players who would not
look out of place in Everton spurs or villa but are not close to european elite
look we knew chelski would be stronger this season and
man city would be up there... we have known for 2 years that we lack a strong DM and a lethal strike force... as with case of ozil the frog has come up with half a solution with sanchez... and which will fail to bring the best from the
quality players we have... will he change..
I too also know that we
look weak at the back but i also believe they have learnt from there mistakes last season and have a stronger unity this season going into the 3rd season with the team wenger has put together without losing key players and adding real
Quality and world class that i havent seen before because none of our history says we bought our trophies we won them with all the unexpected beliefs and never bought into the society and modern game we seen before us not one of our legends were already labelled for they are today before they came to us The made a name for themselfs in our Jersey and build a foundation of what we represent today Before Arsene Wenger and with him We are a club that overachieve and under promise Everything we've done has be our very own unique way of doing it not the way other clubs are ahiceving i for one will not Follow the
Man City's ambitions Chelseas Manchester united or anyone elses
But two games in have confirmed what most reasonably minded supporters have been saying namely a
quality DM is essential... coq is work in progress... They won so much in 50 50 tackles it was shocking... Ox
looked good when he came on but overall thought bellerin handled himself well against dangerous wingers and wld be my
man of match... Santi was too sloppy in first 45 to claim it and Alexis is still not 100 per cent but still gives his all... Some of ozils touches are just sublime but he cld work a bit harder FFS... Over to wenger now to close deals in next 7 days or he can F off for me
Watching Fonte against
Man Utd
look very ordinary if this is what Wenger calls
Quality God Help us.

He is the superstar of superstars, a

Guys I really think there will be a changing of the old guard this season one of the so call top 4 teams wont play champions league and when you
look at everyone else and the
quality they have
Man UTD, Chelsea,
Man City, Southampton, Tottenham, Liverpool even West Ham.
The Gunners were said to be almost certain of getting the
quality front
man from Real Madrid a couple of years ago and
look how that turned out.
The thing that really bothers me is the thing we've disagreed on in the past and that's imo Wengers apparent lack of Urgency and decisiveness when moving into the transfer window I know that Scheweinsteiger would be a great addition but He is somewhat over the hill in comparison to the others that are being toted about and while I know that we are not the cash Rich
Man Poo or
Man Sh!tty or Chelski I do know that we are at a point for the first time in ten years where we don't need to replace many players or are being frced to sell the
quality ones we have, we are for the first time in a spot where we only need to add two or three players and we are there in terms of being able to compete, Id hate for the financial Exuberance to stop us taking that final stride forward into the competitive team we nearly are IMO spend the money now, get the striker, get the DM and we wont need to
look at transfers in a big way again for several seasons and with that in mind Id rather have the likes of Benzema or Lacazetta or even Cavanni than a nearly over the hill Scheweinsteiger.
Walcott Situation should be
looked up quickly, many forget he is our longest serving player, we bought, its almost a decade since he joined us, I think the supporters should show him a bit of respect, weve had players who left for wrong reasons, E.g Judas, Cashri, and a la fab, Walcotts situation is different he actually wants to stay but with our squad boasting some top
quality performers (note performers) he isnt sure he would get a good
look in, which of course would hinder his International status, Ive loved walcott for his pure speed, and he has been that player to light up the emirates with some deft runs and some beautiful champions league Nights, he is our
Man he is our player, support him COYGGG!!!!!!!!! (off topic - I read an article years back that Walcott was a ball boy for liverpool, apparently he was a boyhood fan, any truth to that, kindly appreciated)
With Mourinho fixing his midfield with the three -
man system bringing results and with Pogba and Ibrahimovic's
quality making the difference, things are
looking much more positive at Old Trafford as they continue to charge on and impress.
You must spend to get real
Quality Players I know there is the exception but if you
look at
Man City, Chelsea and
Man Utd they target players and pay what it takes to get these players.
No team
looks European
quality like Arsenal or
Man U of old.

With countless players being linked with a move to the Bernabeu, Balague believes that the Spanish giants are
looking at a five -
man shortlist this summer and it's not short of
quality individuals.
look man i understand that you say ozil in the middle means no protection or less than adequate but ozil will be CAM and he is close to scoring a tap - in rather than giving shield to arteta who is an unreliable source and does not deserve the captaincy, wenger only gave it to him cause he gave the players some papering over the cracks statements after the Liverpool, chelsea and
man city match and the player does not even have a cap for the national team Wenger may have seen this as a player who can play in and out with no internationals regardless of his
qualities on the pitch and the main reason why he sold vermaelen who would have done decent job at CDM and then all that fluid style that arsene thinks he can play dictate «arrogance»!
Atletico's current full - backs are in excellent shape and the
