quality Linked Learning pathways that are accessible to, and support the success of, all students
As we move from February into March, with many of us planning to attend the Educating for Careers conference in Sacramento, I want to acknowledge and celebrate the essential role that CTE plays in realizing the vision of high
quality Linked Learning.
This document provides an overview of the seven Essential Elements of a high -
quality Linked Learning pathway.
As we implement more high -
quality Linked Learning pathways, I also draw inspiration from Linked Learning's impact on people like Ana.
A group of about 100 policymakers, educators, and researchers «went to school,» experiencing first hand how high
quality Linked Learning prepares young people for lasting success in both college and career.
We've seen that high
quality Linked Learning pathways truly ignite high school students» passions by creating meaningful learning experiences.
And it will build capacity, in formal collaboration with one or more postsecondary partners, among district leaders, school leaders, teacher leaders, and counselors to expand systemically high -
quality Linked Learning design and implementation throughout San Diego County.

quality plays a key role in these positive findings for students.

quality assessments;
link curriculum, assessment, and grading and reporting practices; differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners; and examine student work to move student
learning forward.
This session elevates evidence and results from the
Linked Learning field's research so that you gain actionable strategies for understanding the
Linked Learning approach, implementing
Linked Learning, and institutionalizing a culture of
quality assurance and continuous improvement.
