Looking into my crystal
ball if this new ellete European club competition comes into fruition the Arsenal are going to have to up the
quality of player or we will end up
in the 2nd tierand not the creme de la creme tier.
lst season at stamford bridge, was the first time i saw that 4 -1-4-1 formation being used, and for some weird reason i feel a very strange negative vibe and well all know the outcome.the manager has come back with this formation and its not yielding result, but he still sticks with it.i do nt know much about formations dear friends, but if you are playing a slow dm
in arteta and a very very slow cb, then you are toast against
quality teams with sound tactics.wen playing wellbeck as a lone striker, i think 4 -2-3-1, will work better, but if we have a big player like oliver (boooos), thn we can try the 4 -1-4-1, thingy cos he can hold the
ball for our midfielders to run
in.but on the overall, shame on wenger for not giving our defence a good cover DM.NO BODY PLAYS A SLOW DM / CB AND EXPECT TO B REGARDED AS CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL.IT HURTS GUYS, REALLY HURTS.
We still struggle, look shaky and uncomfortable when we come up against any team that plays a high intensity game, teams that don't give us time on the
ball,
in your face etc all give us a hard time, Watford did that
in the first half but poor final 3rd
quality saved us,
in the second half they were tired and knackered so we took advantage.
Well sead looks like the real deal.Physically strong, mentally tough, good control and
quality on the
ball and above all a FIGHTER.Let us hope that this performance yesterday was just a sign of things to come and that he will continue to give these kind of performances on a consistent basis coz we desperately need everyone to step up
in order to win the epl.
2) Seri: African cup of nations bound so we will lose him for a month or so every two years, great passing, great vision for clear cut chances, pace is superior to both Ramsey and granit but that doesn't say much, he doesn't have what I find to be Cazorla unbelievable
quality which is the use of the
ball in tights spaces, Cazorla was a master at that!!
Alexis holds onto the
ball far too long to help the team, he is all over the pitch instead of spending
quality time
in and around the box, great enthusiasm but detrimental to the team as much as Alex Song bombing forward and leaving his primary position unattended.
«The Premier League is not always about football
qualities, it is about physically, second
balls, and
in that aspect the team is too weak at the moment and we have many difficulties against teams like this who play really direct and are aggressive.
He's a bit overrated I must say.I also don't get those who are asking him to tackle well. The fact is he's not a good tackler.I fear Wenger has made him untouchable
in our team such that even if he plays badly he still starts.I mean if people are saying he's not a DM
in the first place then is he also a CM?If he's a CM does he have the
quality to play along side a DM?These are the questions we need to ask ourselves. If he's a CM then he's good at distributing from deep and also up top but he can't hold thd
ball in tight spaces or dribble which is very important. If he's a DM then he simply can't defend. That's why for us to be successful
in the long term with him we need a hybrid midfielder or what I call a defensive box to box midfielder.
Welbeck and Walcott don't add the same
qualities as Sanchez and OX bring to the team when playing wide
in terms of dribbling, beating a man even passing the
ball and this is required
in this level for that position.
