Plus, Real Madrid cue up a ton of high -
quality chances for their strikers.

i think we should go all out
for Henrikh Mkhitaryan the guys is total
quality, the PL may be faster paced but when he gets
chances his
quality is first class, play Sanchez as
striker iwobi one side him the other and giroud as a no 2.
Of course the
striker hasn't even had a
chance to play
for the Gunners yet, so we shouldn't be so quick to berate or even compare him against some of the more top
quality strikers that we had been linked with over the course of the summer.
I think only barca real or Bayern can tempt those players away from leicester, they would give at least a year to the club, but season after that they will move onto other club depending on their form next season. As
for arsenal transfer i wouldn't want to listen to rumours as most of the times these rumours are just utter garbage.i want a certain rumour about Wolfsburg signing giroud to be true.Anyways if our idiotic manager has some sense left in him after an embarrassing season he should get a premium
striker which the club needed
for past 4 years. He need to put his ego aside and his old philosophy of waiting
for players to develop. We need already established players in every department of our team.Penny pinching has cost us just pay the damn money get the players.I get the feeling next season is going to be harder and we have less
chance of winning cause man city have had 2 seasons without premier league and guardiola is gonna bring more
quality and hunger to that team.
The rumour mill will undoubtedly throw out a whole host of names that Arsenal could sign during the summer (Zlatan Ibrahimovic being one that stands out), but while Wenger's eye
for a bargain may have deserted him, most people would agree that our
chances of success next season would be significant improved by the arrival of a top
quality centre - back, holding midfielder and proven goal - scoring
striker.
gk we could do with adding a young
quality keeper in his teens to challenge
for 3rd spot eg dragowski (highly rated polish teen) def (chambers, bellerin are top prospects) we need a young lb who is inexpensive and willing to wait
for first team
chances eg grimaldo mid we have lots of quali coming through from midfield att its hard to judge them so young but we could do with a
striker to replace yaya sanogoo
I'm with you there mate. He's just an average player beign given many
chances.A lot of average
strikers can even do better because of the
chances Arsenal creates.There are some
strikers who are not top
quality but have very good finishing that if given the same seasons and
chances Giroud has had they can do better.I hate it when they make it seem like only world class
strikers are better than him. He's really only improved from season 14/15 honestly speaking. He used to be so bad and waste a lot of
chances. It's just that become can not see the fact that he's not as good as they think. We will surely be vindicated by his performance
for another club.
And it is a
quality that Arsenal can not afford to lose, so how about Wenger giving him another Arsenal
striker to create
chances for?
And wins win you the PL Title Our defense including goalkeeper have been excellent and they have been giving us
chances of winning but we end up losing or drawing many times because our goal scorers have been misfiring In my opinion, our
strikers have been letting down the great work of Cech, bellerin, koscielny, Mert, Moneal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramey, and especially our Assist leader Ozil Mahrez and Vardy in particular have been dynamite this season
for Leicester So far in terms of our Offense only Ozil, and Cazorla have been been of the same
quality but they aren't goal scorers per se If Welbeck, Alexis, Walcott and Giroud can start scoring, then things can change Hopefully, they can start tomorrow COYG
Bendtner or Chamakh would still have been considered average even if they scored 25goals because they had average talent.
For all the potential Bendtner had he never maximised it so as long asit wasn't developed he's still average.I mean it's possoble
for an average player to score 25 goals when given the
chances and possible
for a world class
striker to score less than that.
Quality is a talent which may be linked to stats but does not necessarily show on stats.Take Ox
for example, if you looked at his stats you might think he's average but he's not.Look at Lukaku, he's scored many goals
for Everton yetmany people here think he's not gpod enough
for Arsenal because they look at the
quality and talent andnot just the goals.
I
for one believe that it is not about about having a world class
striker that wins you a league however having having a world class
striker increases your
chance of winning a league.Having said that I just hope we go
for Icardi or a world class
striker or someone who isn't necessarily world class but just knows how to do his job and put it in there.I'd urge Wenger to go
for Javier Hernandez or Callum Wilson. They would bang it in and would have world class form because they would have consistent
quality support from the midfield. It's all about him being serious and telling himself he can do it.I'm just tired tired of watching that so called
striker in our club let alone him starting
for us.Its just pathetic.
Welbeck who actually have the attributes of arsenal type
striker is not a
quality finisher, he could have been in double figures if he actually finish the
chances created
for him the past season with so few games.
Well im not in a wonderland he has his failings as we all do and great teams find a way to win good teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive watched the games were an offensive team most the time although were terrible in the pissing rain but
for the most part the game plans have worked weve created
chances quality scoring
chances one after the other problem is
for me the finishing unless we sit back with 9 man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will give up a goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our
strikers have failed to kill the games if we create
quality chances and grab leads in the first 60 minutes like we have
for the most part and in those games those games should of been killed even if we give a goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that
quality in front goal a player the
chances have been there im looking at the failure of the
strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored as many goals recently as our
strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one in th first 60 mins of a game alongside them then were tired
for last 40 give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed
chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this season not the tactics but the finishing
As it stands, this squad is fairly well positioned to compete
for the Wenger Cup and make a deep run in the Europa, if and only if we play first stringers in Europe and use the bench
for the League and FA Cups... that being said, and based on the fragility of the manager and the team in recent campaigns, it's more likely that Wenger will focus on a top 4 finish and the FA Cup... while the reasons
for such an approach may appear logical, it would confirm a rather disturbing trend and appear counter intuitive
for any team which claims to have higher aspirations... I feel that Wenger simply can't afford to put all his eggs in the Europa basket because if he fails the potential backlash could cripple any top 4
chances due to the aforementioned fragile psyche that tends to rear it's ugly head like our own personal groundhog day each and every February... furthermore, can you even imagine Wenger bringing in the necessary recruits to adequately supply top
quality lineups in a Thursday / Sunday dominated schedule; based on everything I've seen in recent years, I can't see that happening... in fact, mark my words, it's more likely that we see Lacazette playing out wide in Alexis's position with Giroud at
striker, than we see Wenger make the necessary moves to right this ship... god, I hope I'm wrong but is it really that far - fetched considering what we've witnessed
for past several years
GOONSTER Yes your right we did have some great players in the past and why not now??? If you think we could win the legue with this squad with NO
striker then your deluded I'm hoping that AW will buy
quality striker and more otherwise our hopes of wining the legue is almost impossible and as
for CL no
chance but all it takes is to buy couple of more right players we have more than enough funds in the bank so why why why not????? Is it because if Arsen buys
quality players then there is no exuse
for not wining trophies, I still belive in Wanger but I think his scared of controlling world class players so he goes
for neede players or with injury history.
To be fair it he has brought this on himself...
for years we have said it in a calm manner buy and build... last 2 years we have got 3
quality game changers (Sanchez, Ozil, Cech) but we needed more... We have had
chances to sign good young players
for a good price (Dybala # 25 million... Kondogbia # 23 million) he has let them slip through his hands... Summer we asked
for a
striker and keeper and DM, he only got a keeper..
I know I will not see the top
quality striker I have so hoped
for, I know it is not so likely we will bring in a real Patrick Vieira, I know if Man U can not sign a decent CD there is little
chance Wenger will bring in a replacement
for Per.
In what was an insane market
for strikers — where inflationary pressures of all the TV money sloshing around combined with a shortage in
quality front men — # 25m seemed a reasonable amount of money to spend on a young
striker who has already shown he can score Premier League goals in a team that creates few
chances.
The X-Factor could be the
quality of
chances they create
for their struggling
strikers.
I know this is off the subject but I think we should cash add in at the summer, AC Milan are interested so we can ask
for Pato or we can get David Villa swap
for Ade cuz Valencia need to sell him and want to sell him abroad and if we offer a
quality striker (yes, around Europe Ade is known as a
quality striker) this is a
chance of a lifetime.
I jus wonder wat AW is waiting
for Ade is gone u ve 25mill in d kitty, u knw ur defects y don't u jus bloody fix it or does he not read our posts, every body is clamouring
for a
quality DM dat's had week - in, week - out playing exprerience aw well as a
striker & a
quality 1 @ dat, cos in d final 3rd we lack d killer instinct, cos creating
chances r like candy but d baine of d problem is finishing them & d opposition, i vouch he gets matuidi & huntelaar.both r jus wat we need Common AW we trust ya
If given the
chance to sign a
striker, many United supporters would have gone
for Alexandre Lacazette, but given the similar price tag and
qualities, Anthony Martial could prove to be better investment in the long term.
