Some of the big
question marks that remain would be Helen Mirren in Hitchcock, Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty, how well Silver Linings Playbook does with critics, box office and the Academy, who gets a surprise
nomination at the Globes.
It's worth noting that Julianne Moore won the Best Actress prize
at Cannes for this film, so it begs the
question why Focus World doesn't put it out in limited in December so they can qualify her for an Oscar
nomination run.
Another big
question mark is Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, though Tarantino has yet to make a bad film so odds are pretty good that Django will
at least land a Best Picture
nomination.
