rice might approach the nutritional value of quinoa, but takes too long to
cook to be useful in a
quick - dinner recipe.
I suppose
rice would stretch the chili too, but quinoa has it beat for nutrition and
cooks quicker than white
rice.
I know you are a Trader Joe's shopper, so you can use their tortillas if you try this (still grateful for your Trader Joe's
quick cooking brown
rice tip!)
If not, should I use the
quick cook kind or regular brown
rice?
And if you run out of steam making
rice balls, just
cook up a couple eggs into a thin omelette, cut into shreds, and toss with the
rice - makes for one of my favorite
quick lunches.
Directions:

rice as per directions (the
cooking time is about 45 minutes — I like to do this the night before or in the morning so the
rice is
cooked and ready before putting it together) The actual assembly of the loaf is very
quick — about 20 minutes).

It's a little intimidating to comment after alllllll that but we regularly eat pan-fried chicken (flavored with Mrs. Dash), box long grain and wild
rice, and frozen spinach with lemon and butter on it... It's not that I don't
cook homemade unprocessed meals, but my
quick go - to ten - minute dinners are usually a lot more boring.
The great thing about these vegan bowls is that you can

rice, chop all the vegetables, fry the tofu and prepare the sauce on Sunday and store it all away in the fridge to assemble yourself a bowl for a
