I own an Omnia Pro and I've got the N900 here as a test device so although I only had a short time with the Milestone I managed to take a

Filters and setting can be tweaked from the
gallery, after the
photo has been taken, which can be accessed with a
quick swipe to the left.
The screenshot is saved in the
gallery, and if you want a
quick access, you can open it from the notification panel immediately after the
photo.
Along the bottom is the usual row of buttons found on most smartphones;
quick gallery thumbnail, a button to switch between
photo and video modes, and a button to take a picture or start a recording, which changes depending on what mode you're currently in.
Swiping from the right will take you directly to the
Gallery as it did with last year's model so it's nice and
quick to view your
photos.
The screenshot is saved in the
gallery, and if you want a
quick access, you can open it from the notification panel immediately after the
photo, and it can also be shared.
This new version offers a new redesigned
Gallery, a new Camera UI called
Photo Sphere, a Swype - like Gesture Typing, support for multiple accounts, the ability to wirelessly view media from your Nexus device to your HDTV, and the addition of the
Quick Settings panel on the homescreen.
Another new feature is called «Smart
Gallery» which provides a time - based
quick search of your
photos with time stamps to separate images into day, month or year folders.
