My niece
made this and I loved it — am going to try the recipe and am curious about the
quinoa flakes and flaxseed version.
I used
quinoa flakes as I didn't have any
quinoa flour and I didn't have any coconut oil (I ran out 2 nights before due to a intense coconut oil hair treatment:P) so I just ended up leaving the oil out all together and
made it an oil - free version!
I
made it with my own multigrain porridge mix of porridge oats, fine oatmeal and
quinoa flakes, and added a variety of seeds that I had in the cupboard... Yum yum yum.
And I used
quinoa flakes in lieu of bread crumbs to
make this a gluten free dish.
Made with sunflower seeds,

And I was right, as soon as my husband saw the post he asked me to

makes the recipe work differently.
I discovered the utility of

making a recipe for dinner rolls by Gluten Free Girl — they definitely change batter / dough consistency, but I really like the flavor that they incorporate
I can't wait to try out your version (I'll just sub oats for
quinoa flakes to
make it GF) it's going to be perfect with all the gorgeous strawberries that I can't stop eating at the moment!
[Because I'm aware the above is slightly wordy and possibly confusing, here's the basic gist =
Make a sticky protein mix by mixing nut - butter + protein - powder + oats /
quinoa -
flakes + whatever else you like in your bars - > coat them in coconut flour and give them rectangular shapes - > coat them in melted chocolate - > fridge them - > boom!]
the only differences is i left out the soy, worchestshire, the chili
flake and basically everything but the garlic, onions, turkey,
quinoa, salt, and spinach and i
made them in a muffin pan.
* To
make your own
quinoa flour, either grind
quinoa flakes in a high speed blender or toast and grind whole raw
quinoa.

Quinoa Flakes (gluten free) both

flake and than it
makes more sense to me why you don't mention cooking it.
The crisp topping
made with
Quinoa Flakes had a bit of crunch to it, while the topping
made with Gluten - Free Flour had a finer texture.
Make Crisp Topping by combining coconut oil, jaggery and
Quinoa Flakes or Gluten - Free Flour Mix until crumbly.
I wanted to

quinoa flakes (which in fact look like oats but are
made from

made my current favorite breakfast oatmeal with 50 %
quinoa flakes and 50 % quick oats (I added canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and topped with bananas and pecans)-- It turned out great in the microwave — I didn't have any coconut flour - plan to get some soon — but just with the added
