The online multiplayer still feels like the bare minimum, and I am just waiting to see a nice
racing league system setup to have some really intense races online.

raced off his line only to get nowhere near David Silva's corner, allowing Lescott to head home.

And with Nintendo being so lenient with cross platform play (the Rocket
League eShop page literally says «play with people on Xbox One» instead of hiding the existence of it under the guise of «play with people on other
systems» as I expected it would have), I think that when they say they don't consider themselves in the same
race as Sony or Microsoft they actually mean it - it's not just talk.
While Destiny's last Dawning event introduced the Sparrow
Racing League, revamped Strike missions, and a new scoring
system, changes from this Dawning event include bringing back the Mayhem PvP mode from the last game and snowball fights.

Multiplayer has also been significantly enhanced by the addition of 24 - car
races and an exciting
league system that should match you more closely with players of your temperament, if it works.
Being a
league setup does minimise this a fair bit compared to the normal hoppers, but I think a rating
system to determine who wants to play «Destruction Derby» vs «Who wants to
Race» is definitely required.
