For your convenience, all radiation therapy services are provided at the University of Michigan Medical Campus in Ann Arbor and
your radiation oncologist works seamlessly with other members of your treatment team to ensure full integrated, comprehensive care.

radiation treatment plans to target cancer while sparing normal tissue.
The specialists are also
working with
radiation oncologists, pediatric
oncologists, and neurosurgeons to improve therapies.
Our physicians
work very closely with each patient's cancer specialists (medical, surgical, and
radiation oncologists) to coordinate care and to help craft a comprehensive treatment plan that accounts for how frailty, co-existing disease, functional limitations, and cognitive deficits may impact treatment decisions.
When a patient needs
radiation therapy to treat chest cancer, a
radiation oncologist will
work with him or her to determine the best type of therapy.
Dr. Laura Jacimore, a board - certified
radiation oncologist with the new center, said this was something she envisioned since she started
working 12 years ago at the hospital.
Here at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, breast surgeons, radiologists, medical and
radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, pathologists, and psychologists all
work together as a multidisciplinary team to manage your breast cancer.
In addition, I
work with the
radiation oncologists on providing stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) to lesions of the spine.
At UT Southwestern, our specialized liver cancer team comprises transplant hepatologists, surgeons, medical and
