rain in the north of England
over Christmas

over the Christmas break, particularly for residents of Cumbria who have already seen their properties inundated more than once in the
past few weeks.
Levels and flows have been slowly increasing
over the
past few days but warmer temperatures with
rain will cause flows and levels to increase more rapidly.
