I through this on in between
rain storms here in Southern California.
With the advent of spring (although we just had a series of cold winter - like
rain storms here in Los Angeles), I would like to uncover some Spring beauty (actually, any beauty at all but that is an entirely different story)...
Over the weekend we had a wind and
rain storm here in the Seattle area.

Winter is
here, and it's about to get even colder in the northeastern and midwestern parts of the U.S. Winter
storm Grayson has already begun delivering freezing
rain and snow to states as south as Florida, coating Tallahassee with snow for the first time in 28 years.
It
stormed really bad
here last night, thunder,
rain and hail.
Rain is an event
here, and everyone stops what they're doing to watch a
storm roll in like a thick blanket over a twenty mile stretch.
They have been
here since Sept. 26, the day tropical
storm Ondoy dumped a month's worth of
rain on the country.
It has also been snow and
rain -
storming here and as such all I wear are these boots.
Every time it
rains heavily or there is a
storm here we get a blackout.
Welcome to the in - between spring and summer weather, where some days it's breezy, other days it's boiling hot and then the next day it's unexpected
rain showers (or
storms as we have been experiencing
here in Houston!)
Thankfully, I've been sleeping really well, but last week we had a lot of
rain and
storms here and Oliver came into our room and jumped in bed after a few loud thunder claps.
Different weather conditions like sunny, overcast,
rain,
storm (and most importantly) night are all possible
here, but what I felt was particularly cool was the option to select any date and the game would use the track's position and the season at that time of the year to accurately determine what weather conditions were being experienced on that day.
Here in Colorado, we even have «thundersnow»; upper - level snow
storms with thunder, but no
rain.
There are no guarantees it won't
rain while you're
here, a
storm can come at any time but they tend to pass through quickly, unless there is a tropical depression which can last for days.
The
storms we get
here mostly have strong south winds and heavy
rain.
Then by mid afternoon it become more over cast and the chance or
rain and thunder
storm somewhere
here in Bali.
And BTW, it's the weak tropical
storms that dump the most
rain around
here as they seem to hang around longer (eg.
