Many middle seat positions have a
raised hump in the
floor where the
load leg can't be used there.

raising the
loading level to the lip of the rear hatch, making

The only compromise is reduced cargo capacity, as the rear
load floor has been
raised to accommodate the battery pack.
There's a false
floor in back that
raises the
load - in height and maintains something closer to level
load surface when the back seat folds forward, but the
floor also creates a small trunk, underneath and behind the battery.
