For me, this is an accurate summation of my experience with DiRT Rally, when I had the opportunity to check it out amidst a day of actual
rally driving at The Rally School in Como Heights, Sydney.

If you've ever watched
rally car videos, the
driving can look rather violent, but that's not the sense you get when you're riding along
at speed.
I just
drove in the Tributo Ferrari Pacific Coast
rally — itself a fantasy - worthy production, in that it involves
driving Ferraris on some of the best roads in California —
at the conclusion of which the drivers all received photos stored on a thumb
drive.
Unsurprisingly, the VW is more refined than either of the other two and much more livable, but lacks a certain emotional
driving experience when put up against the
rally - bred Mitsu and Subie;
at least the VW's interior is a closer to befitting its price tag.
