One of the most significant
changes in the teaching
profession over the past two decades has been the
rapid growth of alternative routes into teaching.

profession.
It is a worthy practice
in a
profession experiencing
rapid changes that are eroding the financial stability that lawyers once enjoyed.
I quite agree — this book is a window on a
profession in transition, meeting the challenge of
rapid technological
change with a sense of inquiry, with a mind to community and respect for the past.
