The Italian greyhound in general has
a rather good temperament when it is raised as a dog and not as an accessory or four legged child.

I don't know if your puppy has separation anxiety, but in general I do believe that there is a
temperament component to it, so I think the
best thing to do is to focus on his confidence
rather than «obedience» per se.
