kefir are best, as the lactose proteins have been broken down making them easier to digest.

kefir grains)-- is it possible for someone like me to be able to tolerate milk
kefir WITH the milk

I have been making
kefir for almost a year now from
raw milk I buy from a local
dairy and love it.
I would also ferment the
dairy occasionally into
raw yogurt or
raw kefir and also only consume unpasteurized grass fed cheeses.
I had cut
dairy completely out for about six months, but began to add homemade 24 hour SCD yogurt and
raw milk
kefir back in, and noticed my waistband getting tighter after about six weeks with no other weight gain.
I'm trying to get her to try
kefir made from
raw dairy.

dairy products,
raw sauerkraut, pickles and other mixtures, as well as kombucha, water

If you want to include it in your diet, find a farmer to get
raw milk from, and make your own fermented
dairy products (yogurt,
kefir) so you get the benefits of the
raw milk and the probiotics.
BOTTOM LINE: if you don't have a
dairy allergy,
raw milk and fermented
dairy (yogurt,
kefir) may be ok for you.
Drinking probiotic beverages like kombucha, water
kefir, and beet kavas; making and eating [daily] a portion of lacto - fermented vegetables like sauerkraut, kimchee and pickles and enjoying
raw milk, yogurt,
dairy kefir and other fermented
dairy products is excellent and so very healing.
Eat meats, eggs, and organic,
raw dairy products including milk, plain unsweetened (except with stevia) yogurt or
kefir.
I obtained my
kefir grains from a
dairy farmer when I discovered they sold
raw milk.
Fermented
dairy (
kefir, preferably
raw) MAY be ok occasionally if not
dairy sensitive, but
dairy contributes to dampness in the body.
Choose from fermented vegetables (
raw kraut), coconut water
kefir (my fave), or cow or goat
kefir if you can tolerate
dairy.
If this is the case for you, use cultured
dairy like yogurt,
kefir or
raw milk cheese (legal!)
Mothers need to consume calcium from green leafy vegetables, sardines, or healthy
dairy options like
raw and unpasteurized yogurt and
kefir.
