In keeping
food raw, you are retaining those nutrients that may be lost during the cooking process, as well as the vitamins, minerals,
proteins and enzymes that can also deplete.
Leafy greens, especially in the
raw form, are an alkaline promoting
food, so eating them assists our bodies in achieving that necessary slightly alkaline pH. Leafy greens are also great bone builders, as they have more vitamin K than any other
food, which is crucial for the bone building

For instance, my body doesn't seem to do well with extremes: too little
food, a
raw food diet, too much animal
protein or refined carbs, too much natural sugar, added sugar, extremely high amounts of
protein or extremely high amounts of fat, etc. etc. etc..
No crap these arent as good as
raw whole
foods but for a
protein bar they are great.
MSM & sulfur rich

food from scratch demands more and sometimes better skilled labor, and this is especially true when we're talking about the handling of potentially dangerous

Examples of processed
foods includes refined sugars (like white and
raw sugar), convenience

protein bars and biscuits, dairy products like cheese and butter, spreads and preserves, and, the kicker for most paleo eaters, preserved meats.
Cut out (or reduce) the processed and packaged
food in your diet, and load your body up on whole
foods such as vegetables, greens, low sugar fruit, healthy fats (like avocado and coconut oil), lean
protein, and
raw nuts, butters, and seeds.
I can only speak for myself, but I feel tremendously better on a high - fat (pastured animal fat, coconut oil,
raw EVOO), moderate
protein, moderate carb diet with ample bone broth, liver,
raw dairy and fermented
foods (veges, sourdough, FCLO) than I ever did with a lean - meat and vegetable diet of paleo.
I will continue to eat
raw eggs as the perfect
food and
protein.
I maximize my intake of
protein, carbs and fats — plus micronutrients — by combining whole, real
