Beans and salads and veggie juices, is my 2 cents on the transition, and I speak for experience, going from vegan, to meat and salad (meat is easier to digest but hell on the mind and joints), to vegetarian with
raw goat dairy ferments only (that killed me like poison), to grainless vegan who loves me some beans and feels great all around.
Not exact matches
Given that we're strict on our gluten - free life and he's strict about no
dairy of any kind, whether it be
goat, sheep,
raw or what have you, that would pretty much leave a lasagna that is really a plate of sauce.
However, now that we have our own
dairy animals, I have found that I can drink up to 2 cups of
raw goat milk, or 1 cup of
raw cow milk a day without difficulty, or a similar amount of
raw dairy products.
So, stick to
goat, sheep and A2 / Jersey milk and cheese when doing
dairy, whether
raw or pasteurized.
I do know that a lot of paleo followers don't use
dairy, but I think
raw dairy from grass - fed jersey and
goats is a good choice.
I don't do great with
dairy but adore cheese and think life's too short, so I tried those out and the
raw goat cheddar cheese gives me no problem!
The cheese is made from puréed
raw cashews, nutritional yeast, and just enough white wine and lemon juice for the tang of
goat's cheese without any of the
dairy.
And we can not tolerate
goat's
dairy, even
raw; it is much WORSE for us than cow's milk, and leaves us with hives.
You could try
raw goat's milk cheese or try supplementing with a digestive enzyme that contains lactase along with
dairy - containing meals.
Raw dairy (cow,
goat, or camel) is typically easier on your babe's digestion and daily bowel movement.
These days I consider myself «mostly
dairy - free» because I find that I tolerate a high - quality
goat cheese or
raw cheese just fine about once per week, but in general, all of my food is
dairy - free.
Dairy (Note: I reintroduced in this order: grass - fed butter;
raw goat yogurt or kefir;
raw goat milk;
raw goat cheese;
raw cow cream;
raw cow yogurt or kefir;
raw cow milk;
raw cow cheese.
Likewise,
raw dairy and fermented
dairy (yogurt and kefir), particularly made from
goat's milk or sheep's milk, rather than cow's milk, is also much easier for people to digest, including those with lactose - intolerance.
Examples of probiotic foods you should look to consume include: fermented vegetables (sauerkraut, kimchi), probiotic yogurt (from
goat or sheep milk that is grass - fed and organic), fermented
dairy products (kefir), probiotic beverages (apple cider vinegar, coconut kefir, kvass), kombucha, natto,
raw cheese (
goat's milk, sheep's milk, A2 cow's soft cheeses).
The people of Hunza and Kashmir consume whole fermented
goat milk products; inhabitants of Vilcabamba consume
raw cows milk which they usually separate into cream cheese and whey; and the centenarians of the Caucasus Mountains eat whole milk yogurt and other
dairy products.

I've been on the anti candida diet but it's so effing restricting and I DO feel better from eating non starchy / glutinous foods FOR OBVIOUS REASONS THOUGH (because they're gross;)-RRB-, and eggs and sheep /
goat dairy with live bacteria etc doesn't make me feel bad or gain weight (and actually makes me feel better when my adrenals get messed up from all
rawing - I have low b12 and supplements don't seem to do anything but
dairy seems to work though I'd prefer to be vegan) AND BUT I REALLY REALLY LOVE AND PREFER AND MISS THOSE GREEN SMOOTHIES OMG Especially because I like to exercise WHEN I CAN / when i'm physically able to, and when you recover from green smoothies and it's so clean and gorgeous and magical feeling... and then you try to recover on standard foods....

goats is perhaps the best bone building, cardio - protective food one could consume so long as they don't have a food sensitivity to
dairy and are able to digest and absorb the nutrients effectively.

raw spinach salad with chopped apples, a handful of blueberries, sliced red pepper, crumbled
raw goat feta, chopped crispy walnuts, drizzled with an olive oil - balsamic vinegar blend is a lovely, quick summer salad that can be enjoyed by most people with well - functioning digestive systems and plenty of calcium coming in through bone broths or
raw dairy products.
Also, these are the only things I can think of that I changed in my diet in the past week: — avoiding cow
dairy (except butter); replaced with
goat milk and
goat cheese (not
raw)-- I bought glucose tablets to use for my low blood sugars (trying to get away from excess fructose), Dex 4 «Naturals» (no color added) Ingredients: Dextrose (D - glucose), cellulose, sterotex, citric acid, malic acid, natural orange flavor, ascorbid acid.
The consumption of all
dairy products have been shown to naturally raise IGF - 1 levels, but I personally go straight to the source and both drink camel milk and other forms of
raw milk (in moderation) and use
goat's milk colostrum.

dairy — cow or
