I've made a carrot salad with
raw grated carrots and grapes, but never cooked carrots.
I am not a fan of the regular
raw grated carrots but the flavor combinations sound divine.

raw grated carrot and sweetened the batter with stevia drops.

For packed lunches I normally make big batches of quinoa and brown rice with apple cider vinegar / lime and salt and then do a big thing of roasted veg — things like sweet potato and squash cubes, so I throw a mix of that into a tupperwear with some
raw veg — things like avocado,
grated carrot, tomatoes and then some hummus / lentils / chickpeas / seeds for protein.
Just want to check whether you use
raw carrot and beetroot for
grating?
Only the root is ever used, as an part of the aromatic mirepoix in almost any soup and sometimes
raw as a salad, with mayo, or even without, just dressed with some lemon juice;
grated apple is also added, or
carrot for a mixed salad.

grated raw carrot with
grated raw BEETROOT, (Red beet), same great texture & moistness with similar great taste but with a twist.....
Grate raw and use to make

I like chunks of cheese in the dressing but if you want it smooth, feel free to run it through the blender or food processor.Another excellent use for blue cheese dressing is to mix a salad of
grated raw vegetables;
carrots, radishes, avocados, cabbage, and kohlrabi, and with perhaps additional fresh herbs like chervil and tarragon tossed in as well.

It still makes a great cake when you use
grated carrot, but I am only offering you all an insider tip as a
raw food caterer who has found that for a truly perfect
carrot cake to survive the freezer, it is best to remove the moisture from the
carrots, juice them first, or at least try to squeeze out as much of the juice from the
grated ones as you can.
Goto dinner: Thick pancakes (egg, flour, water, salt) with vegetables mixed in, onions need prefrying otherwise usually
raw and cut up or
grated,
carrots, tomatoes, courgette, peppers, or anything else that is handy and cooks fast.
If you don't like
raw asparagus, substitute green beans, snap peas,
grated carrots, small broccoli florets, or any other veggies.
I simplified this recipe even more in a lot of ways, by using frozen bagged
carrots, peas, and corn instead of celery and
carrot, I skipped the sautéing part and just mixed the
raw onion and garlic with the mixture, I skipped the walnut toasting part and just added it in, I did all my chopping in the food processor, I used the food processor to
grate the apple and used an apple instead of apple butter in the sauce and just processed it til it was slightly chunky.
You can
grate the
carrots if you want, or use your veggie peeler to make those long ribbons, with the effect of creating somewhat of a
raw Fettuccine pasta.

The inside is

For the uninitiated, the idea of eating
raw food will conjure up images of
