What's your take
on raw meat?
I talk about
raw meat in those societies in my book with a big caution that because of the challenges of how you find that product, I can't make that recommendation, but we absolutely have societies that have thrived
on raw meat.
Additionally, there's a lot of stress
on what you shouldn't eat...
raw eggs,
raw milk, certain seafood, soft cheeses, luncheon
meats, etc. rather than what you should eat to nourish baby.
Natural D3 is also contained in blood sausage, some organ
meats, butter and
raw milk from cows
on pasture, and eggs from pastured hens.
I cut up 2 chicken breasts into pieces but you can also buy already cut pieces in most supermarkets if you're tight
on time or
raw -
meat - aphobic (like a former roommate of mine).
The good news is that although these harmful bacteria can live
on raw poultry, they're completely eliminated when
meat is cooked thoroughly.
