I did see a video on (Dr. Gregor) website, quite sometime ago, and if I remember correctly I thought it stated when looking at what people ate 200hundred years ago their sodium intake was 200 mg — 500 mg daily and so is this what the goal should be with getting natural sodium in whole plant foods (and in mostly
raw plant food diet)?

I absolutely would love to have a book that combined what you have learned as a
raw chef, but also combining
foods that would lure a non-veg to convert to a
plant based
diet to begin with.
I love that the recipes are showcased by levels of
raw, which take you from a foundation of cooked vegan recipes to more
raw food dishes to help you transition to a
plant - centric
diet.
Their traditional
diet includes
raw game (such as caribou, seal, whale and fish) and few
plant - derived
foods.
I always strive to motivate my patients to eat as many whole,
plant - based
foods as they can on a daily basis (both
raw and cooked), and juicing can put them over the top, enjoying the best odds of health and longevity in a society that favors nutrient - poor, processed, and fast
food diets.
Some of the major speakers included the very fit Mark Sisson, author of The Primal Blueprint (photo with me and Mark) and an advocate for the Paleo / Primal

diet.
A well - balanced, whole
foods,
plant - based
diet that includes
raw foods in it will supply your body with optimum nutrition.
Then I found a solution: a mostly
raw food,
plant - based
diet.
I actually had a thyroid problem and instead of taking meds, I relied on a mostly
raw food plant diet to heal me and that included daily intake of cruciforous vegetables and I was able to get back to having a healthy thyroid, no medication needed.
So, what if people already eat a mostly whole
foods,
plant based
diet, but use olive oil, or coconut oil in cooking, or use coconut butter or oil in preparing
raw vegan desserts?
I was put on medication and after going vegan, eating a whole
foods plant based
diet with lots of
raw kale,
raw broccoli, etc. (as well as cooked kale, broccoli, etc.), I was able to get off thyroid meds:)
A
raw food version of a low fat
plant based
diet, similar to that popularized by Dr. Dean Ornish and Dr. Doug McDougall.
Generally these
diets are
plant - based, and are comprised of at least 75 %
raw food.
Perhaps the issue of eating purely
raw has a role in this, since a
raw food diet has many drawbacks to a conventional whole
foods plant based
diet with cooking.
If you can present some valid studies showing how a
raw food diet is healthier compared to a conventional whole
food plant based
diet then please do so.
No evidence shows that a
raw diet trumps a conventional whole
foods plant based
diet, but a lot of evidence shows that mixing cooking with
raw is not only healthy, but beneficial.
The 80 10 10
Diet by Dr. Douglas Graham is a
raw food version of a low - fat
plant based
diet, similar to that popularized by Dr. Dean Ornish and Dr. John McDougall.
If you're starting a
raw food diet or a
plant - based
diet, you definitely want to make sure you learn enough about it so you can achieve success on a this lifestyle.
But, if you do not want to feel better, strengthen your immune system, reverse the effects of aging, stop counting calories, fat grams and carbs forever, then by all means, do not eat a
diet high in
raw plant foods.
Experts say: «There's no doubt that
plant - based
diets have been linked with a lower risk of obesity and other chronic diseases, but because the
raw -

Despite what you'll hear from extreme vegans, extreme
raw foodists, and other believers in «extreme» types of
diets that eliminate entire portions of the historical human
diet, the human digestive system evolved to eat a mixture of
plants and animal
foods (yes, we evolved as omnivores), as well as a mixture of
raw food AND cooked
food.
After seeing her leg and knowing the symptoms we realised it was an acute inflammation of the veins (phlebitis) due to poor refined
diet, which was high in sugar, pork, animal fat, dairy, white flour products and low in
raw vegetables, fresh fruits, and other unrefined
plant foods.
We still can reverse the damage and Alzheimer's by repairing or regenerating them through healthy lifestyle, unrefined
plant - based and mostly
raw diet, super
foods, best quality supplements, antioxidants and herbal remedies.
If we ate a whole
food diet high in fresh,
raw and alkalinizing
plant foods, we would have the anti-oxidants needed to protect our bodies from oxidative damage caused by circulating toxins.
Fortunately, there is enough evidence to believe that it is possible to reverse those genetic abnormalities through healthy lifestyle and
plant - based mostly
raw diet, super
foods, herbal remedies and certain supplements.
I really recommend that you implement a complete health system for yourself and get into weight lifting, as well as eating a super healthy, whole
plant foods diet with as much
raw as possible.
You will achieve much better results if your
diet consists of at least 50 % up to 85 % of
raw (uncooked) and unprocessed
plant foods (especially
raw vegetables and
raw vegetable juices).
