raw, although the cooking process will cause them to become sweeter.

raw, like you would carrot sticks, or cook them in a quick and easy recipe like my Sugar

If you don't like
raw asparagus, substitute green beans,
snap peas, grated carrots, small broccoli florets, or any other veggies.
Alternatively, you can also use this is a dip for
raw vegetables — try a mixture of cauliflower florets, red bell pepper strips, baby carrots, and

To make one of my favorite quick - and - easy dishes, chop one - inch pieces of pear tomatoes and hearts of palm, and toss with shredded carrots,
raw corn kernels, sugar
snap peas, and shredded red cabbage.
Ingredients: 2 cups frozen shelled edamame 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon low - sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger 1 clove garlic, chopped 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil For serving:

I used
raw almond butter in place of the sun butter and subbed out the spaghetti squash for more
snap peas and zucchini noodles and it was fantastic!
The veggies that are best in the
raw form include celery, carrots, cucumbers, spinach, bok choy, bell peppers, romaine lettuce, parsley, cilantro, radishes,
snap peas and beets.
Other safe between - meal diabetic dog treats include green beans —
raw, cooked, canned, or frozen — or fresh, crunchy
snap peas or carrot sticks; sardines or tuna packed in water; small amounts of canned pumpkin (plain, not the pie mix); freeze - dried liver; dried salmon; hard - boiled eggs; cheese (be careful of too much fat); bully sticks; dried beef tendons; chicken feet; and most low - carb treats formulated for dogs or cats.
