use the previous batch as a starter indefinitely for regular pasteurized milk
yogurt, and it's even dicier for
raw milk
yogurt.

I love to make

I have
used raw milk for

yogurt and make it runny.
For these pops, I
used yogurt that I made out of
raw goat milk from the Dancing Goat farm, with Seven Stars Farm
yogurt as a starter.
Ingredients: 1 pot of white
yogurt (I
used Provamel soya with zero added sugar) Juice from half a lemon 1/3 cup of puffed quinoa (you can
use puffed rice too) Handful of strawberries Handful of kiwi Handful of gluten - free oats Handful of raspberries Brown rice syrup

3 cups of heaping shredded zucchini 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce 1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek
yogurt 3 eggs 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract 1 tablespoon honey (I
used raw) 1/3 cup of sugar 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour 1.5 cups of all - purpose flour 1/4 cup of flaxseed meal 3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 ripe banana 1 teaspoon salt
Raw Coconut
Yogurt You will need about 3 - 4 young coconuts to yield 2 cups meat, or
use frozen.
Suggested serving to take it to the next level:
yogurt of your choice (I
used Anita's coconut
yogurt), Noir Organic Dark Chocolate Spread, Organic Crunola ®
Raw Granola, strawberry.
1/2 cup lowfat plain (regular or Greek)
yogurt 1/2 cup pomegranate juice (
use 100 % pom juice) 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1 tablespoon

We love it with homemade
yogurt and
raw honey drizzled over it or with just milk, but I also
use it to make granola bars or sprinkle it on ice cream or pancakes.

We cook stuff from scratch
using real ingredients, like
raw milk, grass - fed beef, eggs from chickens that run around outdoors, whole grains, sourdough and

Switching up the
yogurt starter which has worked flawlessly with the
yogurt maker and then
using it to attempt
raw yogurt cultured on the counter does not usually work.
I love
using local,
raw grass fed
yogurt for my masks.
You may
use plain, whole milk goat kefir or homemade goat
yogurt in place of the milk portion of the milk if
raw goat milk is not available in your area.
I have enjoyed receiving our organic produce delivered by Terra Organics, and dairy from Smith Brothers (not
raw dairy, but I mostly
use the milk to make
yogurt or bake with).
Because we tend to eat probiotic foods every day at my house, including
raw milk, homemade
raw yogurt and cheese, sauerkraut, kombucha, and cultured condiments, I don't go out of my way to take or give my family probiotic supplements unless it seems like our tummies or immune systems could
use some extra support.
If you really want the best health benefits you can obtain,
use raw cow's milk and then add top quality pro-botics to the
yogurt as you make it, this is the secret.
Instead
use some of the better quality dairy products such as
raw cheese, good quality whole
yogurt, butter and cream that has not been ultrapasteurized.
Eat it plain,
use in smoothies, make
yogurt based ranch dip, or craft homemade
yogurt cups topped with fresh fruit drizzled with
raw honey or pure maple syrup and a sprinkle of chia seeds.
You can't
use raw milk
yogurt, though, because it's not a pure
yogurt culture.
Other than snacking on them plain, I like to have them with coconut
yogurt, make a quick chia jam (you can
use that recipe for any berry), dip them in
raw chocolate and freeze them for when my sweet tooth needs a hit, and, of course, freeze them for smoothies!

So you can never
use raw milk
yogurt then.
