you reach peak contraction, gently lower your heels back down, and repeat.
The range of motion will be smaller because of the angle, but the standing wrist curl does have the advantage of providing a stronger stress on the forearm muscles when
they reach their peak contraction.

contraction is a sharp pain which gradually builds up in intensity until it
reaches a
peak and then subsides.
Extend the arm as high as you can and try to

peak contraction at each rep. Do it in a full range of motion too.
