That bulk would make them behave a bit like heavy pebbles outpacing fine silt to the watery bottom of a well, jostling through the lighter surrounding stars to
reach stable orbits very close to the Milky Way's core.
The robotic spacecraft would be capable of approaching the asteroid, characterising it, capturing it, and then redirecting it to a final
stable orbit that would be closer to Earth and thus easier for astronauts to
reach.
