I am convinced that we can not adequately reach out to this world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ unless we understand how the unbeliever thinks, what they value, and why they make the decisions they do.

Most importantly, is that new church plants tend to be much more effective and efficient at reaching out to unbelievers.

Most church growth is lateral... if what the modern day church is doing is not bringing the gospel to unbelievers, doing real discipling, and sending those people out to reach more unbelievers... we are not doing church right at all....

But in many ways today, such practices are only getting in the way of reaching out to unbelievers and adequately making disciples.
