The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Trailer) I'm not the world's biggest Lord of the Rings fan but I actually
read The Hobbit, so I'm keen to see how it turns out as a film.
As a russian myself — who newer has
read the Hobbit in russian — this is amazing.
I tried to
read the Hobbit book and the first book of The Lord of the Rings set and finally gave up.

I remember when I was in fourth grade and
we read The Hobbit.
That being said, I'd invest my time in (re --RRB-
reading The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings before wasting a second on any so - called holy book.
When
reading the Hobbit and LOTR, I never made the connection that the Necromancer was Sauron or that the Necromancer was all that important.
I've tried
reading The Hobbit on numerous occasions and could never make it past the first 30 pages.

You would think by the fourth book that you have seen everything there is to be about «The
Hobbit» but I can honestly say that I have
read them all and yet I am still blown away but how much actually content is included in this book.

Hobbit... If all you want is a pure action movie with zero substance, I suggest you go watch The Transporter — or, as Antony points out, you can go watch Battleship again.
