That's the premise of Yuri Elkaim's book «The All - Day Energy Diet: Double Your Energy in 7 Days,» and it's this month's
read for my book club.
The story follows a group of friends: Grover (Josh Hamilton) is shell - shocked that his girlfriend is leaving him to study in Prague; the acerbic Max (Chris Eigeman in a career - best performance) is a 50 - year old misanthrope in the body of a 20 - something undergrad; Otis (Carlos Jacott) works a dreary job at a video rental store and can't bring himself to actually
read for his book club; and bartender Chet (Eric Stoltz), for whom alcohol is a literal philosophy.
There is no way BookPage could recommend every book club - worthy book every month, but here I'd like to give a shout - out to a book I'm currently
reading for my book club — and loving.
Many of them would be able to relate to my wife Darlene's decision this week to buy a Kindle version of a book, even though she'd been given a free paperback of the title, to
read for a book club.
Reading for your book club and socializing with your group members is a lot of fun, but sometimes it can be tricky to find a book that no one has read yet and everyone will enjoy.
This would make a great
read for a book club.
